CHESTER, Pa. – July 27, 2022 – The Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County, (RADC), a consortium of private sector corporations and non-profit institutions charged with the development of the Delaware County waterfront, today announced that it has been awarded a multi-year grant of $25,000 in 2022, amounting to a total of $50,000 at the end of 2023 by The Foundation for Delaware County to expand its operating capacity through staffing and professional services to complete community and economic development projects along the Chester waterfront.
Funding will be used to better connect City of Chester residents with the Chester Riverwalk Trail
CHESTER, Pa. – May 4, 2022 – The City of Chester, with support from the Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County (RADC), has been awarded $1,135,000 to fund the Highland Avenue Complete Streets Project, allowing for greater connectivity with the Chester Riverwalk as part of an ongoing effort to transform the waterfront. Funding for this project comes from the PA Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program (TASA), administered by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC).
Harrah’s’ Albrecht to become Vice President and Union’s McDermott to join as Secretary
CHESTER, Pa., March 2022 – The Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County (RADC), a consortium of businesses and non-profit groups working together to implement physical, economic, and social programs to stimulate the development of the Delaware County waterfront, has appointed Chris Albrecht, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack (Harrah’s), to vice chair after having previously served a term as secretary and Tim McDermott, president of the Philadelphia Union and Union Sports & Entertainment, will join the board as secretary. The board also re-elected Thomas Shoemaker, former Pennsylvania market president of TD Bank and Gerald Miller, former president and chief executive officer of Crozer-Keystone Health System, to treasurer.
Power’s latest donation to Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County brings total to $1.4 million
CHESTER, Pa. – February 10, 2022 – The Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County (RADC) announced a $750,000 award from board member organization Power Home Remodeling Group (Power) via the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Waterfront Development Tax Credit Program to fund the West Second Street Waterfront Trail as a part of an ongoing effort to revitalize the Chester waterfront.

Bryn Mawr, Pa, January 2021 – Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: BMTC) and wholly-owned subsidiary Bryn Mawr Trust (BMT) today announced a $250,000 donation in state tax credits to Pennsylvania-based nonprofit Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County (RADC).
