He is currently the senior leader responsible for marketing and communications at WSFS Bank, where he develops and supports the execution of strategies in a collaborative fashion for Retail, Commercial and the Wealth Management businesses and subsidiaries designed to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities include marketing strategy and analytics, brand management, advertising, external and internal communications, media relations and sponsorship and event management.
During his time at WSFS, he has overseen the successful development and implementation of end-to-end integrated communications and product mapping strategies to support five bank acquisitions and three non-bank acquisitions resulting in franchise growth and top-quintile financial performance. Customer-facings plans were complemented by comprehensive internal communication plans to support integration and broader engagement efforts to create a seamless transition for Customers and Associates joining WSFS. During his tenure at WSFS, he has also developed several multi-media brand campaigns to create awareness for WSFS’ expansion into Southeastern Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and South Jersey. WSFS has moved from an unknown entity in 2015, to ranking 8th in awareness, and growing, in the Greater Philadelphia and Delaware region.
Before joining WSFS in 2011, Justin was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Susquehanna Bank where he was responsible for the development and implementation of company-wide sales and marketing initiatives across a network of 220 retail branches.
Justin graduated from Lynchburg College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing. He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing & Management, the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Advanced School of Banking, and Rutgers University’s South Jersey Regional Leadership Institute. In 2016, Justin was selected as a member of the Delaware Business Times’s DBT 40 Under 40 and was recognized in 2020 as an honoree of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40— a select group of the region’s best and brightest young professionals, all under the age of 40, who are making a difference with their intelligence, initiative, and innovation.
Justin is currently the President of the Board of Directors at the Mary Campbell Center in Wilmington, Delaware. He has served on the Board since 2015 and serves on the executive, strategic planning, advancement, finance and management and personnel committees. He currently resides in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania with his wife and two boys.
